Ubisoft has teased what’s next for The Division 2, and it looks cold—literally. The game’s official Twitter account shared a new image of Washington, DC’s Capitol Building covered in snow, a major seasonal shift from the game’s usual summer setting.
Alongside the above image, the post on X notes:
Agents, thank you so much for joining the Battle for Brooklyn. The team is working on the next update, as well as starting something entirely new in The Division 2…
No other details were revealed, but the winter setting and “entirely new” tease hint at a bigger shift.
Fans just wrapped up Battle for Brooklyn, a compact 6-to-10 hour expansion that brings players back to New York to track the Cleaners and their brutal tech. It also reintroduces familiar faces like Theo Parnell and Aaron Keener—with a surprising twist.
There’s no release date for the new content yet, but with that winter backdrop and narrative tease, something larger may be brewing. Let’s keep the hopes high!
